Pouching Machine Operator (ITI – Mechanical)

We are seeking a skilled and disciplined Pouching Machine Operator with hands-on experience in operating automatic packaging machines, preferably Nichrome. The role requires strong technical understanding, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor pouching/packing machines for spices and food products

* Set up machines, adjust parameters, and ensure accurate weighing, filling, sealing, and packing

* Ensure packaging quality including seal integrity, pouch appearance, coding, and labeling

* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues with a root cause approach

* Minimize downtime and material wastage through efficient machine handling

* Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance

* Assist maintenance team during breakdowns and repairs

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI/GMP standards

* Follow production targets, schedules, and safety guidelines

* Maintain basic production and machine records

Eligibility & Requirements

* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical (preferred) or relevant technical background

* Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in pouching/packing machine operations

* Experience with automatic weighing and packaging machines; Nichrome experience preferred

* Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine troubleshooting

* Physically fit and willing to work in shifts

* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

* Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and attention to hygiene

* Immediate joiners preferred
