Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to manage the procurement of materials, components, and services required for project execution. The ideal candidate will ensure timely purchasing, negotiate with vendors, maintain cost efficiency, and coordinate closely with the design, projects, production, and accounts teams to support smooth operations. Key Responsibilities • Source and procure materials, accessories, lighting components, and projectrelated items as per approved purchase requisitions. • Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and evaluate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms. • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs). • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials. • Coordinate with the Projects, Production, Stores, and Design teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules. • Track pending purchase orders and maintain procurement status reports. • Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). • Maintain vendor records, price lists, and procurement documentation. • Identify and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors. • Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the Stores team to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory. • Ensure purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications. • Resolve supply issues, shortages, and delivery delays promptly. • Maintain compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. • Prepare procurement reports and cost-saving analyses for management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Procurement or supply chain certification will be an added advantage. Experience • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing. • Experience in the interior fit-out, lighting, electrical, construction, architectural products, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
