Job Description
- Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Guest ServiceWelcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Ensure guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements efficiently.
- Ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.
- Build strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business.
- 2. Team SupervisionSupervise waiters, stewards, and service staff during shifts.
- Allocate tables and service stations to team members.
- Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
- Motivate and guide the team to achieve service excellence.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily updates.
- 3. Restaurant OperationsEnsure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen for timely order preparation and service.
- Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements.
- Ensure proper mise en place before service begins.
- Assist during busy service periods.
- 4. Order & Service ManagementTake orders when required.
- Ensure accurate order placement and timely delivery.
- Verify food quality, presentation, and temperature before serving.
- Follow established service standards and SOPs.
