Sales Executive

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Retail Sales Executive to manage day-to-day sales of building materials and electrical products. The candidate must have hands-on experience in both retail and wholesale markets, strong product knowledge, and the ability to handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and order execution efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle walk-in customers, contractors, electricians, and builders professionally
• Provide accurate guidance on building materials (cement, sand, hardware, plumbing, etc.) and electrical items (wires, switches, fittings, etc.)
• Manage retail counter sales and assist in wholesale/bulk orders
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and follow up on orders
• Negotiate pricing with customers while maintaining profit margins
• Maintain relationships with regular clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers for stock availability and pricing updates
• Ensure proper stock management and display in the shop
• Handle cash/credit sales and maintain basic sales records
• Stay updated with market rates, new products, and competitor pricing
• Assist in loading/unloading coordination when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in building materials / electricals sales
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cement, steel, hardware, plumbing materials
• Electrical products (wires, switches, MCBs, lighting, etc.)
• 
  
• Experience in both retail counter sales and wholesale dealing
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Basic computer knowledge (billing software, WhatsApp, Excel preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Honest, responsible, and customer-focused

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing network with contractors, electricians, builders, or suppliers
• Experience in handling bulk orders and credit customers
• Knowledge of brands and local market rates
