Job Description
To drive revenue through three key streams: Corporate Room Bookings, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and Banquets. You will be responsible for hitting monthly room-night targets and event revenue while leading a high-performing sales team.
📋 Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Revenue
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase occupancy and banquet yields.
- Identify and acquire new corporate accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Negotiate Corporate Rate Agreements (RAs) and annual contracts with MNCs and SMEs.
2. Banquet & Event Management
- Oversee the banquet sales pipeline, ensuring high conversion of wedding, social, and corporate event inquiries.
- Work closely with the F&B (Food & Beverage) team to design competitive menus and event packages.
3. Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and track the daily performance of the Sales Executives.
- Conduct weekly sales reviews and provide training on "Closing" and "Negotiation" skills.
- Assign specific territories or segments (e.g., Pharma, IT, BFSI) to team members.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing, renovations, and promotional activities.
- Participate in travel trade shows and networking events to build the hotel’s brand presence.
Experience: 5–8 years in Hotel Sales (Corporate & Banquet segments are mandatory).
Education: Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Marketing.
Network: A strong existing database of corporate travel desk contacts in the local region.
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Opera / IDS / HMS software.
- Strong negotiation and "Revenue Management" skills.
- Excellent English communication (Written & Verbal).
