Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Develop, conceptualize, and execute high-end interior design projects for residential or commercial spaces.
• Project Management: Lead all project phases, including space planning, design development, construction documentation, and site administration.
• Team Supervision: Delegate tasks and provide direction to junior/mid-level designers and interns to maintain design integrity and project timelines.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact, presenting design concepts, negotiating with clients, and managing expectations.
• Technical Execution: Produce, oversee, or review detailed construction drawings, material specifications, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) packages.
• Site Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience: 5–10+ years of professional experience in interior design, typically with a portfolio demonstrating high-level project management.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of building codes, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for client management and leadership skills for mentoring team members
