Job Description
- Job Title: Staff Accountant
- Location: Dadar, Mumbai
- Salary: ₹90,000 per month
- Shift: Night Shift (Supporting US EST Time Zone)
- Key Responsibilities:Prepare and post journal entries as per company policies
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
- Support audit requirements with documentation and reconciliations
- Handle accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting
- Coordinate with overseas and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
- Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (corporate/public accounting preferred)
- Experience working with overseas teams and US-based accounting operations
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliation processes
- Preferred Skills:Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in Sage PeachTree and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work night shift (India) to support US time zone
