Job Description
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally accurately and on time.
- Prepare and record sales, purchase, payment, and receipt vouchers.
- Handle basic GST billing and invoice preparation as per company format.
- Maintain petty cash records and support routine cash transactions.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before entry.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and basic account matching activities.
- Keep digital and physical accounting records properly organized.
- Coordinate with vendors and staff for pending bills or payment details.
- Generate simple reports from Tally as required by management.
- Support the accounts team in day-to-day office and documentation work.
Very Important
Basic working knowledge of TallyPrime including voucher entry, billing, GST accounting, and report generation.
Minimum 1–2 years of practical experience in handling day-to-day accounting operations using TallyPrime.
