Job Description
(a) Working in production / maintenance workshop, ship or submarine.
(b) Maintenance of all small arms, including cleaning of gun components and sub-assemblies, routine maintenance, and rectification of defects in small arms received from ships/units.
(c) Carrying out armourer duties at Quarry Range, Karanja (excluding firing of weapons).
(d) Maintenance of all guns and rocket launchers (R/L) fitted onboard Indian Navy / Indian Coast Guard ships.
(e) Repair and maintenance of chaff launchers, etc.
(f) Manufacturing of components in the factory to meet operational requirements, such as gaskets, nuts, bolts, and other special tools.
(g) Any other work assigned by the superior officer.
