Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving vehicle sales targets, managing showroom sales operations, leading the sales team, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and driving overall dealership profitability. The role involves planning sales strategies, monitoring team performance, handling customer relations, and coordinating with finance, insurance, and service departments.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for two wheelers and allied products.
  • Increase market share through retail and institutional sales activities.
  • Develop and implement local sales promotion strategies.
  • Monitor enquiry generation, booking conversion, and retail delivery performance.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of showroom, digital, and field enquiries.

Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise sales executives and team leaders.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews.
  • Train staff on product knowledge, customer handling, and sales techniques.
  • Monitor attendance, discipline, grooming, and productivity of sales staff.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure excellent customer experience during enquiry, booking, and delivery process.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalation cases effectively.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and positive dealership image.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and referral networks.

Showroom Operations

  • Ensure showroom display standards and vehicle presentation are maintained.
  • Monitor test ride management and stock availability.
  • Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams for vehicle availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and dealership processes.

Finance & Insurance Coordination

  • Coordinate with finance and insurance partners for maximum conversion.
  • Promote accessories, extended warranty, and AMC sales.
  • Monitor documentation and timely loan processing.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, enquiries, and customer database.
  • Ensure adherence to audit and compliance requirements.

Qualification
