Job Description
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing and insurance enrollment processes for healthcare clients. The ideal candidate should already have hands-on experience with credentialing workflows and be able to work independently with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and maintain provider credentials including licenses, NPI, DEA, malpractice insurance, and certifications
- Complete and submit credentialing and re-credentialing applications to insurance companies
- Maintain and regularly update CAQH profiles
- Follow up with insurance payers regarding application status and approvals
- Handle provider enrollment, contracting, and payer communications
- Resolve credentialing delays, discrepancies, or rejected applications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all providers
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare credentialing/provider enrollment is mandatory
- Knowledge of CAQH, NPI, DEA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance credentialing
- Strong follow-up and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with US healthcare processes preferred
Night Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
