Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing stock audit, inventory control, and logistics reporting to ensure accurate inventory records, efficient stock movement, and cost-effective transport operations. The role involves preparing MIS reports, analysing inventory and transport data, coordinating with branches and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting management with actionable insights for process improvement and cost optimization.

   Job Profile:

Stock Audit & Inventory Control –

Conduct quarterly stock audits to ensure accuracy of physical inventory versus system records

Identify stock variances, shortages, and excesses and coordinate timely resolution

Ensure compliance with internal inventory control policies Submit audit findings with corrective action recommendations within defined timelines

MIS & Stock Movement Analysis –

Prepare and circulate weekly MIS reports on stock movement across branches

Analyse inward, outward, aging, and closing stock trends

Highlight slow-moving and non-moving inventory for management review

Support management with data-driven insights for inventory optimization

Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination –

Ensure data consistency and validation before report submission

Address queries and provide clarifications on stock and transport reports

Maintain effective communication to support decision-making

Transport Data Management –

Align with operations team for timely and accurate reporting requirements

Prepare and maintain accurate transport data including dispatch, freight, and delivery details

Track transporter performance and freight charges

Ensure timely availability of transport data for MIS and cost analysis

Branch-wise Transport Costing & Analysis –

Prepare branch-wise transport costing reports on a periodic basis

Analyse cost variances and identify cost optimization opportunities

Support budgeting and cost control initiatives related to logistics

Share insights with operations and finance teams for corrective action

Process Improvement & Compliance –

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all reports

Recommend process improvements in inventory and logistics reporting

Maintain proper documentation for audits and management reviews
