Job Description
- 🔹 Core Export & Documentation SkillsKnowledge of export procedures (pre-shipment & post-shipment)
- Preparation of documents:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Shipping Bill
- Understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.)
- Export compliance & customs regulations
- 🔹 Logistics & Supply Chain ManagementCoordination with freight forwarders & CHA (Custom House Agents)
- Shipment planning (sea, air, road)
- Tracking shipments & ensuring timely delivery
- Warehouse & inventory coordination
- Handling port operations and clearance
- 🔹 Regulatory & Compliance KnowledgeDGFT policies and export-import regulations
- GST & export taxation benefits (LUT, refunds, etc.)
- Knowledge of export incentives (RoDTEP, EPCG, etc.)
- International trade laws and restrictions
- 🔹 Communication & CoordinationVendor and supplier coordination
- Customer handling (international clients)
- Negotiation with shipping lines and logistics providers
- Email drafting and professional communication
- 🔹 Financial & Commercial SkillsCosting of export shipments
- Handling LC (Letter of Credit) & payment terms
- Forex understanding (exchange rates, risks)
- Budgeting and cost control
- 🔹 Software & Technical SkillsERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.)
- MS Excel (advanced reporting, tracking)
- Export documentation software / portals
- E-way bill & ICEGATE portal handling
