About the Company

The company, our client, is an independent insurance agency based in Orlando, Florida, specializing in property and casualty insurance for US-based clients. As we grow, we are expanding our back-office operations team and are looking for experienced insurance professionals in India to support our day-to-day documentation and policy management workflows.

 

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work remotely from India as an integral part of our Orlando-based insurance operations team. You will handle back-office paperwork, process policy changes, complete ACORD forms and applications, and communicate with clients via professional email correspondence — all aligned to US Eastern Standard Time.

 

Key Responsibilities

•       Complete and process ACORD applications and insurance forms accurately on behalf of clients

•       Handle policy change requests received via email and process them in a timely manner

•       Prepare, save, and email policy documents, certificates, and related paperwork to clients

•       Draft and respond to professional emails on behalf of the agency

•       Maintain organized digital records of all client correspondence and documentation

•       Coordinate with the Orlando team to ensure smooth workflow and turnaround times

•       Occasionally use a phone extension to assist with client calls when required

•       Ensure all forms and documents comply with US insurance standards and guidelines

 

 


Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

•       Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in US-based insurance customer service or back-office operations

•       Proven experience working with ACORD forms and property/casualty insurance applications

•       Prior exposure to US Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products strongly preferred

 

Skills

•       Strong written English communication skills — professional email drafting is essential

•       Proficiency in handling and organizing digital documents (PDFs, Word files, emails)

•       High attention to detail with the ability to fill out complex forms accurately

•       Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

•       Good time management skills to meet deadlines aligned with US Eastern Time

 

Education

•       No specific educational degree required — relevant work experience takes precedence

Work EnvironmentThis is a fully remote, email-based role. All communication with clients and the internal team will be conducted via email.
