Position: Maintenance Executive

Job Summary

Sanskriti Jewels is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Executive to oversee the maintenance and smooth functioning of all production machinery, electrical systems, utilities, and equipment within the jewellery manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of jewellery manufacturing machinery.

Educational Qualification

• ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Additional certification in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Systems will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Experience in jewellery manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in machines and utility equipment.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, wiring, control circuits, sensors, and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.

Machinery Maintenance

Maintain and troubleshoot machinery used in jewellery manufacturing, including but not limited to:

• Induction Furnace
• Melting Machine
• Steam Machine
• CNC Diamond Cutting Machine
• Blower Systems
• Polishing Machines
• Casting Equipment
• Air Compressors
• Vacuum Pumps
• Buffing & Finishing Machines
• Water Pumps and Utility Equipment

Preventive Maintenance

• Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain records of machine breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.

Utilities Management

• Monitor and maintain utility systems such as compressors, air lines, water systems, exhaust systems, and generators.
• Coordinate with external vendors for servicing and repairs whenever required.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all plant safety procedures and electrical safety regulations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping in maintenance areas.
• Maintain adequate stock of critical spare parts and consumables.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and machine manuals.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge for maintenance record keeping.
