Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately as per the doctor's prescription.
- Provide guidance to customers on the proper use, dosage, storage, and possible side effects of medications.
- Recommend appropriate Over-the-Counter (OTC) products based on customer needs.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and resolve any medication-related queries.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and monitor inventory, including expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
- Process billing and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
- Comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive customer relationships.
- Coordinate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and the pharmacy team when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good understanding of prescription handling and medication counseling.
- Inventory and stock management skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing software and basic computer applications.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a patient-focused approach.
