Location: Mumbai (office-based, with local travel for client/site visits)

About the Role

The M Project is looking for a proactive, well-spoken, social media-savvy Junior Executive to drive sales and marketing outreach across our key trade channels. This is a front-facing role suited to someone early in their career who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and representing a brand professionally — both in person and on social media. You will be the face of The M Project to galleries, stockists, tile dealers, and interior designers, while also keeping our social media presence consistent and on-schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•    Identify and approach art/design galleries/stockists to explore stocking, display, or collaboration opportunities.

•    Prepare and deliver clear, professional sales presentations tailored to each type of client (galleries, stockists, dealers, designers).

•    Approach and onboard new stockists; maintain and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

•    Build and manage relationships with tile salesmen/dealers as a channel for product placement and referrals.

•    Approach interior designers and design firms to introduce The M Project's range and generate leads/collaborations.

•    Maintain and follow a monthly social media upload calendar — coordinating with the design/content team to ensure posts go out on schedule.

•    Track all outreach (calls, visits, follow-ups) and maintain an updated log of leads, conversations, and next steps.

•    Report weekly progress against sales and outreach targets to the founder/business head.

•    Represent The M Project at relevant trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events as needed.

What We're Looking For

•    Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Marketing, Business, Design, or Communications preferred but not mandatory).

•    Confident, articulate communicator — comfortable presenting to gallery owners, designers, and dealers.

•    Basic proficiency with PowerPoint/Canva for presentations and social media scheduling tools.

•    Well-organized, self-driven, and comfortable with field travel across Mumbai.

•    Genuine interest in design, art, ceramics/tiles, or the interior design industry is a strong plus.

•    Willingness to learn and take ownership — this is a growth role with scope to take on more responsibility over time.
