Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Wastewater Lab Chemist responsible for analyzing water and wastewater samples, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and supporting plant operations through accurate laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine analysis of wastewater samples (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, MLSS, MLVSS, TH, TAN, FM Ratio oil & grease, etc.)
2. Conduct chemical dosing calculations. floculation and support process optimization
3. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
4. Record and maintain accurate test reports and logs
5. Ensure compliance with pollution control board norms
6. Assist in troubleshooting plant performance issues
7. Monitor influent and effluent quality parameters
8. Maintain inventory of chemicals and lab consumables
9. Follow safety and environmental guidelines

Required Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (ETP/STP)
2. Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing methods
3. Basic understanding of environmental regulations
4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting

Qualifications:

B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science or related field

Preferred Requirements:

1. Experience in ETP/STP plant operations along with parameter analysis
2. Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation
3. Familiarity with online analyzers and lab instruments

Working Conditions:

Site-based role (industrial plant environment), fixed shifts
