Job Description

Role : Analyst - Corporate Development

Experience : 1-3 Years (FTE)

Location : Mumbai

The Corporate Development team is responsible for fundraising, investor communications, M&A, research and strategy. Corporate Governance and dealing with securities matters are an integral part of this role. The Corporate Development team is also seen as a strategy pillar of the organization, so the team is likely to take up long term unstructured strategic assignments which need to be formalized before being run on a day-to-day basis by other functions. The candidate is expected to be responsible for the following activities.

M&A Deal Support & Pipeline Management

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with Quantiphi's mandate

• Create and maintain acquisition target databases; track prospects from initial contact through LOI

• Research industry standards, comparable multiples and competitive positioning

• Assist in conducting preliminary financial and operational due diligence of targets 

Fund Raising (equity + debt)

• Assist in preparing investor materials and collateral — information packs, CIM (Confidential Information Memorandum), data room organization

• Support creation of financial models and projections for investor review

• Create status reports and dashboards to track deal progression against timeline

Required Skills

• MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute / CA / CFA 

• Financial modeling and valuation analysis 

• Excel proficiency for data analysis and financial models along with presentation creation

• Preferably working in the CorpDev team in a company / Investment Banking / Transaction Advisory in Big4. Exposure to Tech Industry will be an advantage

• Excellent in Communication skills (written & spoken) 

• High ownership mindset with openness to take up unstructured work

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
