Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Scientist with proven expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing to build advanced AI-led solutions for the mutual fund and asset management (AMC) sector. The role involves high-impact initiatives including fund performance modeling, investor segmentation, portfolio optimization, document intelligence, and risk analytics.

Key Responsibilities

§  Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML/DL/NLP models for business-critical use cases.

§  Build end-to-end ML pipelines with automated data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, and inference.

§  Develop and fine-tune NLP solutions including sentiment analysis, document classification, entity extraction, and text summarization.

§  Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on financial datasets to uncover trends and insights.

§  Build dashboards and analytical frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based tools.

§  Collaborate with investment, risk, and product teams to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.

§  Mentor junior data scientists and lead cross-functional data initiatives.

§  Ensure compliance with model governance, explainability, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the mutual fund industry.

§  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (mandatory)

§  Master’s degree in data science, Machine Learning, or related areas (preferred)

§  Certifications preferred: TensorFlow/PyTorch, CFA Level I, NISM
