Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
• Design and develop comprehensive automation test strategies, covering web, mobile, and API applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, identifying and reporting defects with detailed analysis.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Implement and improve QA processes through automation, enhancing testing efficiency and reducing manual efforts.
• Participate in release cycles, ensuring quality standards are met and providing timely feedback to the development team.
• Support manual testing when required, ensuring a thorough and comprehensive testing approach.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA testing, automation, and software development.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing, with a strong focus on Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured is essential.
• Proficiency in SQL and database testing, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and resolving complex issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and manage stakeholders.
• Experience in BFSI, Fintech, or Product-based environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is desirable.
