Data Domain Architect Associate

As a Data Domain Architect Associate on the Analytics Solutions and Delivery Team within Workforce Planning, you will be responsible for with delivering data automation and visualization that supports multiple Workforce Planning functions. Projects engaged by the Analytics Solutions and Delivery Team can be complex, data intensive, and of a high level of difficulty that have significant impact on the business. Your role will require quick assessment and comprehension of unstructured problems to develop practical problem-solving strategies.
Job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy for product data development and delivery
- Lead discovery and prioritization of data product needs, ensuring solutions are reliable and reusable
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to document product data and manage metadata
- Oversee data quality, integrity, protection, retention, storage, and usage
- Ensure compliance with firmwide policies, standards, and procedures for data governance
- Develop and maintain relationships with data delivery partners and consumers
- Demonstrate governance by tracking workstreams, prioritizing deliverables, and ensuring successful delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of four years of industry experience in a data-related field
- Proficiency in data querying and manipulation using technologies such as SQL and experience creating graphical representations of data to make complex information accessible and actionable.
- Proven ability to execute through successful internal partnerships and influence across job functions
- Applies Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban to project delivery, focusing on adaptive planning, early delivery, and continual improvement.
- Experience in defining and implementing multi-faceted projects or programs
- Presents compelling narratives using data analysis, simplifies complex techniques into actionable information, and uses visual elements to drive decision-making.
- Delivers verbal messages clearly and compellingly, summarizes discussions to confirm understanding and alignment.
- Conveys information, ideas, and messages through written words with clarity, conciseness, and professionalism.
- Highly detail oriented, ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, manage time, and prioritize to complete a project/task
- Comfortable with a fluid business environment, changing job priorities, and working with people at a variety of levels internally and externally with the ability to work independently and/or in a group
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Snowflake or Athena and Databricks
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Exposure to modern data governance practices, including data quality, integrity, access, and compliance
- Experience collaborating with roles such as Data Product Owner, Data Owner, Data Engineer, Data Modeler, and Data Architect
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Alvaria eWorkforce Management platform, practices, policies, and procedures; both internal and across various lines-of-businesses
- Demonstrated usage of AI technologies to solve complex problems, enhance processes, and create new opportunities.
