Deputy Manager- Powertrain, PCM

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Support Business case preparation for Material Cost of Powertrain system.
• Share part/ system wise material cost with platform team.
• Evaluating Material Cost at System/Part level at different stage of Development of Product from Business case to SOP
• Keep track on timely feasibility comments on SOR basis business case targets
• Support CDMM team to prepare optimised TSO (Technical Signoff)
• Support SSU and PCL on timely SBC (Should be Cost)
• Timely communication of ROCM SBC to SSU and PCL
• Support Internal systems to facilitate necessary cost approvals due to all change events wrt Cost
• Closely work with CFT to get desired cost inputs and First time right SBC.
• Support PCL for montoring and tracking of Project business case ( material cost targets)
• Provide visibility on overall material cost and raise necessary risk alarms along with mitigation measures
• Should Be costing for Automotive Components
• Technical Knowhow of various manufacturing process, its cost drivers & ability to optimize the cost through various alternative & optimized process.
• Identify the areas of cost reduction through design iteration & assist design to achieve the cost targets.
• Cost benchmarking of the Internal & external powertrains
