Deputy Project Manager

Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Mumbai we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.You'll play a key role in driving project/program execution to maximize results with respect to cash and margin while delivering on time and in conformity with the contract or Program Charter. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Core Teams and internal/external partners), ensure compliance with Alstom’s Project Management Manual, and proactively manage risks and opportunities, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of planning and managing the complete execution of your scope from transfer to close-out, but also ensure alignment with customer expectations and Alstom’s standards.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading the Project Team, including Core Team and applicable Project Managers of internal and external partners
  • Managing project performance goals to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring optimal quality of project/program execution and reviews
  • Identifying and addressing critical aspects in reviews proactively
  • Representing Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of Alstom policy and EHS requirements
  • Maintaining full compliance with Alstom’s Code of Ethics

  • University degree in Engineering
  • Experience or understanding of project management processes
  • Knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Familiarity with Alstom’s way of working for efficient process execution
  • A recognized project management qualification
  • Experience working in and with multi-national companies and diverse business cultures
  • Strong conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit and excellent communication skills
  • Leadership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and decision-making abilities
