Head – Pre-Sales & product (Laser Weapon & Counter-Drone Systems)

• Build and maintain relationships with defence customers, government agencies, and system integrators.
• Lead high-level customer engagements, product briefings, and capability demonstrations.
• Represent the organization in industry forums, exhibitions, and defence events
• Own revenue targets, profit margins, and business growth metrics for the product line & Monitor program performance and profitability
• Work with R&D and product teams to define product roadmaps and capability upgrades.
• Align product development priorities with market needs and upcoming defence programs.
• Provide inputs on technology investments and capability development.
• Lead technical pre-sales activities for Laser Weapon Systems and Counter-Drone solutions across defence and security programs.
• Analyse customer RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements and develop compliant technical solutions.
• Prepare system architecture, block diagrams, and technical concept notes for proposed solutions.
• Support technical presentations, demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities.
•  Define system configurations, subsystem selection, and performance budgets.
•  Work with engineering teams to assess technical feasibility, risks, and integration aspects
• Interface with defence customers, system integrators, and program stakeholders to understand operational requirements.

• Track emerging technologies in:

• Directed Energy Weapons
  • Counter-UAS systems
  • Electro-optical tracking
  • RF detection and jamming
  • Evaluate technology readiness and integration potential

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in defence electronics, system integration, or mission systems.
• Experience in system architecture or technical solution development for complex electronic systems

Experience in one or more of the following domains:

• Directed Energy / Laser Weapon Systems
• Counter-Drone / Counter-UAS systems
• Radar, RF detection, or electronic warfare systems
• Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) tracking systems
• Air defence or surveillance systems
• Command and control systems
• System integration for defence platforms
