Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, physically fit Truck Driver to join our event rental team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of event equipment (stages, audio/video gear, furniture, lighting) to and from event venues across Mumbai and surrounding areas. 

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Safely drive company vehicles (tempos, trucks) to transport equipment to various event locations in Mumbai, including navigating traffic and tight spots.
• Loading & Unloading: Actively load, secure, and unload delicate or heavy rental inventory (e.g., AV gear, furniture) to prevent damage.
• Site Management: Work alongside event staff at venues, ensuring equipment is delivered to the correct location and, if required, helping with setup/teardown.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checks on oil, tires, fuel) and maintain the vehicle in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic rules and regulations in Maharashtra.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• License: Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license (depending on vehicle size) with a clean driving record.
• Experience: 1–5+ years of experience as a truck/commercial driver, preferably in logistics or events.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Mumbai routes, traffic patterns, and shortcuts.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Documentation: Basic understanding of reading delivery challans and invoices.
• Availability: Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as per event schedules.

Preferred Attributes

• Ability to communicate in Marathi, Hindi, and basic English.
