Job Description & Summary:

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Engagement Risk Management: 

  • Serve as a critical liaison between engagement teams and risk/compliance functions to start client engagements. 

  • Track all the Engagements Riks activities in the portfolio 

  • Operational Engagement Support: 

  • Oversee engagement operations including resource planning, Raising invoices 

  • Coordinate with Engagement Manager for creation of Engagement Letters 

  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: 

  • Ensure that engagements comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. 

  • Assist with internal and external audits related to engagement risk and operations. 

  • Stakeholder Management: 

  • Collaborate with partners, engagement managers, risk team, and other stakeholders to facilitate risk discussions and operational efficiencies. 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field. 

  • 3-6 years of experience in a PMO role focused on risk and engagement operations, preferably within a Big4 or large consulting firm. 

  • Strong understanding of engagement risk management concepts, compliance, and operational governance frameworks. 

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA,) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

 

Mandatory skill sets: 

 

  • PMO experience (3–6 years) with focus on engagement operations and risk management 

  • Strong understanding of engagement lifecycle — initiation, resource planning, compliance checks, invoicing 

  • Risk & compliance management expertise (engagement risk reviews, governance tracking) 

  • Operational management skills — tracking activities, coordinating engagement letters, audit readiness 

  • Proficiency with PM tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA) 

  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel analysis, PowerPoint reporting, documentation in Word) 

  • Stakeholder management — effective coordination with engagement managers, partners, and risk teams 

  • Analytical and problemsolving skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities 

Preferred skill sets: 

 

  • Experience in Big4 or large consulting PMO environments 

  • Exposure to internal/external audit processes related to engagement risk 

  • Experience in financial/operational processes like invoice management, resource allocation 

  • Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks for engagement governance 

  • Ability to drive operational efficiencies across multiple engagements or portfolios

BE, B.Tech, ME, M,Tech, MBA, MCA (60% above)
