What will you be doing?

1. This project aims to design a next-generation robotics hip surgery program integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the patient journey over the next five years.

2. The initiative shifts focus from a procedure-centric approach to a comprehensive, patient-centric lifecycle spanning early diagnosis, surgery, rehabilitation, and long-term monitoring.

3. Robotics will enhance surgical precision and consistency, while AI will enable predictive diagnostics, personalized care pathways, real-time decision support, and continuous recovery management.

4. The outcome should position Smith & Nephew Healthcare as a leader in advanced orthopaedic care through innovation, scalability, and superior patient outcomes.
