5.    Key Responsibilities –

Key Responsibilities
CNC Leadership & Environment Management
•    Lead end to end JDE CNC activities across upgrade phases including install, configuration, testing, cutover, and go live.
•    Own and manage JDE environments (DV, PY, QA, PROD), ensuring availability, stability, and readiness for each project phase.
•    Coordinate environment refreshes, data conversions, and mock cutover activities.
Upgrade & Technical Support
•    Support JDE upgrade execution, including platform upgrades, tools releases, ESU deployments, and post upgrade validation.
•    Manage JDE security migration, roles, user access, and compliance during the upgrade.
•    Provide CNC support for retrofit testing, performance testing, UAT, and go live.
Performance, Monitoring & Stability
•    Support performance and load testing activities from a CNC perspective, including environment tuning and monitoring.
•    Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure, batch, or system performance issues.
•    Ensure system health, backups, job scheduling, and monitoring are in place and validated.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
•    Work closely with JDE Technical, Functional, Testing, DBA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery.
•    Act as the single point of contact for all CNC related topics with project managers and stakeholders.
•    Participate in project planning, cutover planning, and go live readiness reviews.
Team Handling & Governance
•    Lead and mentor CNC team members, ensuring clear task ownership and timely execution.
•    Maintain CNC documentation, run books, and environment checklists.
•    Provide regular status updates, risk identification, and mitigation plans related to CNC scope.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
•    Strong hands on experience as a JDE CNC Lead / Senior CNC Consultant.
•    Proven experience supporting JD Edwards upgrade projects (E1 preferred).
•    Expertise in JDE environment management, security, deployments, ESUs, and monitoring.
•    Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models.
Good to Have
•    Exposure to performance testing support, disaster recovery drills, and high availability setups.
•    Knowledge of JDE tools, schedulers, and integration touchpoints.
•    Experience supporting cutover and post go live stabilization.
