Lead Bitumen and Sulphur

Job Purpose: 

The role is responsible for ensuring smooth evacuation of Sulphur and Bitumen as per the refinery production plan. It involves strategizing product placement, optimizing channel performance, exploring trading opportunities, and driving new business initiatives while ensuring compliance and maximizing realisations.

1. Evacuation as per Refinery Production

  • Based on the refinery production, strategize the business plan with best realization.

 

2. Product Placement Strategy

  • Strategize product placement at different geographies based on competitor strength and market intelligence.
  • Identify catchment areas and customers.
  • Identify supply/demand gaps.
  • Stay updated on government norms from time to time.

 

3. Channel Partner Management

  • Proposal, evaluation, and induction of channel partners as per Institutional Business requirements.
  • Appointment of channel partners based on business needs.

 

4. Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor target vs. achievement of each AM as per the annual business plan.
  • Continuous interaction with AMs to achieve targets with better margins.
  • Identify and resolve gaps, if any.

 

5. Discount Schemes

  • Roll out competitive discount schemes for channel partners based on market dynamics and field feedback.

 

6. Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance involved in selling all products.

 

7. Trading Opportunities

  • Explore tie-ups with reputed international traders/suppliers for stock and sale.
  • Explore import possibilities and tie-ups for Bitumen to ensure consistent supplies in India.
  • Develop export facilities for Sulphur at nearby Bedi port for better realization.

 

8. Channel Optimization

  • Allocate sales to channels and direct customers for profit maximization.

 

9. New Business Initiatives

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on market dynamics.

 

10. Training

  • Provide product knowledge training to AMs.
  • Keep AMs updated on market dynamics and developments in the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications:

  • BE / MBA
