Lead Credit Monitoring and Debt Management - Retail

Lead CMD - Retail| Mumbai

1. To lead and manage the end-to-end retail credit monitoring function, ensuring portfolio health, regulatory compliance and strategic alignment with the bank’s risk appetite. 
2. Assessment of credit exposures.  
3. Early identification of potential credit deterioration, Stress testing – processes, compliance, product, underwriting. 
4. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in banking credit products, regulatory frameworks, and portfolio analytics.
5. The role involves oversight of portfolio analytics and digital transformation initiatives across all retail lending products like Credit card, Gold Loan, MFI, LAP/ HL, EL, PL, wheelers (2W/4W/CV), Equipment (CE/ HCF/ ML), LAS etc.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Head CMD Retail will manage team of Lead Credit monitoring manager & Credit monitoring manager.

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the bank’s retail portfolio.
2. Detect early warning signals by analyzing financial, behavioral and transactional data.
3. Monitor borrower performance and industry trends to proactively identify potential credit stress.
4. Track the entire credit lifecycle from application to disbursement across various credit and product parameters.
5. Continuously assess portfolio performance, hygiene metrics and sectoral exposure limits.
6. Prepare regular risk reports for senior leadership.
7. Identify and highlight emerging risks, sectoral concentrations and credit exposure trends.
8. Recommend corrective measures for stressed accounts.
9. Design and update credit monitoring policies in line with RBI regulations and Basel norms.
10. Ensure strong post-sanction monitoring systems are in place.
11. Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines, including RBI’s credit risk management standards.

Master's degree in Business

CFA/ CA preferred.

Min Exp: 15 years

Max Exp: 20 years
