Job Description
- Oversee and manage all construction activities for a single project, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to engineering procedures, practices, and techniques outlined in the design documents and project drawings.
- Develop an understanding of project sequencing, resource requirements, and organize resources effectively to meet project goals, ensuring the project is completed within the budget, on schedule, and with the required quality standards.
- Manage project coordination with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the schedule and cost targets are met.
- Collaborate closely with the design, engineering teams, and PMC to implement ‘Value Engineering’ and ‘Cost Optimization’ strategies.
- Work with the Planning, QS/Contracts teams to develop detailed project schedules that align with engineering deliverables, procurement, and contracting timelines.
- Provide key inputs for the preparation and review of periodic project MIS.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory rules, local regulations, and manage the environment to ensure smooth progress of site activities.
- Conduct regular quality and safety audits at the project site and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate the finalization of construction methods, schemes for erection/construction, and enabling work plans.
- Oversee compliance with LEED standards for all project-related construction activities.
- Finalize quality plans, ITPs, safety plans, EHS plans, and ensure ongoing compliance, documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
- Manage all project close-out activities, including evaluation, punch list resolution, As-built documentation, final bill certification, and contract closure.
- Oversee the tendering process for the project.
Personal Attributes:
- Proven experience in managing the implementation of high-rise towers, large-span structures, and complex structural configurations in RCC and Steel.
- Experience in real estate development, including office towers, residential towers, shopping malls, and hotels.
- Familiarity with inter-disciplinary interfaces and coordination requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, both individual and institutional.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to make informed decisions based on accurate and timely data.
- Personal attributes of integrity, team orientation, leadership, adaptability, flexibility, endurance, creativity, and motivation to achieve success.
