Role Description

• Listed Derivatives and Clearing (LD&C) is an agency execution and clearing business with a clientele of Hedge Funds, Real Money Managers and Large Institutional Clients. Deutsche Bank provides Execution, clearing and settlement services for a comprehensive range of exchange traded derivatives (futures and options). These services are provided to both institutional clients and internal trading desks.
• The LD&C team in DB Centre plays a pivotal role in achieving the overall business objective - expansion into new markets, evolution of existing services within its traditional markets and build business with existing and new clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the global LD&C product team on new Market initiatives including new exchange contracts, exchange memberships and new exchange rollouts
• Facilitate the build out of strategic Execution and Clearing platforms/product offering
• Understand client’s trading strategies and major risk drivers to identify patterns and generate analytics
• Create analytical products / tools mainly using Python and SQL (use and knowledge of other languages is a plus)
• Dashboard designing, development, and deployment using Tableau Visualization tool
• Ensure delivery within given time frame while maintaining quality
• Stay up to date with current tech and bring relevant ideas to the table
• Proactively work with the Management team to identify and resolve issues
• Perform data mining to provide quality insights and actions to the business
• Partner will Sales, Trading, Business Management & other functions to implement revenue / risk / cost related initiatives
• Develop client level quantitative/trend analysis around our current business to maximize franchise execution wallet
• Manage Risk and P&L for the business and generate ideas to maximize returns

Your skills and experience

• Strong understanding of macro economy, Listed Derivatives market, Derivative products is required
• Strong quantitative skills with sound statistics/math academic background
• Strong business communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management / organization skills – ability to be on top of different initiatives and client activities
• Data interpretation skills and ability to provide insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of creating scripts using Python and Big Data framework to clean and load data
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Data modeling
• Knowledge of databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, ClickHouse etc.
• Exposure to Visualization technologies like Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, Pentaho etc
• Desire to cultivate a thinking that “connects the dots” between real world economics and the business
• Entrepreneurial and Interpersonal skills are a must in driving the business and coordinating with different teams
• Individual with a sense of commitment & motivation for self-development along with attention to detail
