Manager- Internal Communications

Job Purpose - The role will be responsible for managing internal communications Pan India.

Key Responsibilities:


1.    Internal Communication Strategy and Execution


•    Design and craft effective internal communications and campaigns
•    Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale events such as Town Halls, celebrations, and launches including Jashn, Diwali, CSR initiatives, and other employee engagement events.
•    Draft and design newsletters, emailers, documents, case studies, reports, posters, brochures, infographics, flyers, and merchandise for internal use
•    Influence and support executive leadership to engage teams around purpose, product launches, and innovation-driven campaigns and initiatives.
•    Provide creative, event, and asset development support across business verticals including Refinery, Marketing, EPS-IST, and Asset Development
•    Partner with functional and business teams to advise and guide effective corporate communications and advocacy, supporting cross-organizational initiatives such as Project Shakti, Compliance, HSE, and CSR campaign calendars.
•    Manage corporate announcements, change communications, and regular tactical and strategic messaging.
•    Collaborate with CEO, CMO, CFO, and MC members to drive innovative communication and engagement campaigns aligned with leadership agendas (e.g., Marketing Matters, CFO Women Financial Advisory Sessions, Women’s Day events)
•    Own and manage internal communication channels to ensure cross-organizational visibility, awareness, and education.
•    Launch periodic initiatives to foster a unified culture through employee volunteering, publications, events, and campaigns under the “One Team One Nayara” theme.
•    Act as brand custodian by guiding vendors and internal teams to ensure on-brand development of internal communications across functions (Admin, L&D, HSEF, Compliance, etc.)

2.    Employer Branding Strategy


•    Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and leadership teams to define and communicate the organization’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
•    Support employer branding campaigns in close coordination with the external communication team
•    Lead development of employee merchandise to enhance brand visibility and foster pride in Brand Nayara
•    Oversee creation of high-quality brand assets including photoshoots, employee videos, and event coverage

3.    Employee Experience and Brand Advocacy


•    Foster a positive employee experience by implementing communications and initiatives that promote engagement and pride in the organization’s ethos.
•    Develop strategies to amplify employee stories and experiences internally and externally via social media and other platforms.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee recognition programs, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.

4.    Internal Brand Analytics and Reporting


•    Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and apply data-driven enhancements.
•    Generate regular reports and insights for leadership on communication performance.
•    Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in internal communications.

5.    Vendor Management and Governance


•    Coordinate with internal departments for procurement, payments, and related processes for all internal communication vendor requirements.
•    Expand and manage a high-quality vendor ecosystem across creative, video, event, merchandise, publishing, and production domains.
•    Ensure compliance with procurement, approval, and billing processes as per DOA; manage end-to-end vendor relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.

Knowledge


1.    Educational Qualifications & Certifications: 
•      MBA/Masters in Event Management / Digital Marketing/ social media
2.    Experience:
•      At least 8-12 years in communications
