Our Portfolio & The Opportunity: While Trimble has an incredibly strong, established footprint in India with our structural portfolio (Tekla), the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) sector represents a massive, untapped opportunity. Stabicad enables MEP modelers to create constructible 3D models with unmatched productivity, and you will lead the charge in establishing its footprint.
What Makes This Role Great:
In this role, you will be the absolute business leader for the Indian MEP territory, serving as the strategic bridge between global product teams and local market needs. You will partner with a dedicated technical Sales Engineer to validate product-market fit, map the "Right to Win," and secure the initial wave of high-profile customer references. Operating at a high level of executive visibility, your impact will be immediate and measurable as you transform top-tier firms into "raving fans" of our ecosystem.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Own the Success of Stabicad in India: Act as the primary business owner for the product line, driving product feedback, market-fit validation, commercial sales, and localized country strategy to support long-term revenue goals.
Market Strategy & Product Intelligence: Serve as the "eyes and ears" in the field. Sharpen sector deep-dives across MEP consultancies, BIM chapters, and general contractors, delivering direct feedback to global Product Management regarding essential local standards and content libraries.
Strategic Business Development: Hunt and secure net-new, MEP-focused accounts. Move conversations with C-level executives and directors at tier-1 firms from basic features to core business outcomes (pre-fabrication, risk reduction, and detailing efficiency).
Ecosystem & Partnership Architecture: Identify, align, and partner with key Indian industry organizations, BIM institutions, and manufacturing bodies to position Stabicad as the definitive market thought leader.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Guide the everyday focus of your technical Sales Engineer to align demos with strategic value, while collaborating with the Tekla sales team to unlock cross-sell opportunities within large general contractors.
Essential Skills & Experience
Industry Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience within the Construction/MEP industry or the Construction Tech software marketplace in India.
Revit & BIM Ecosystem Fluency: Strong fundamental understanding of the Autodesk Revit ecosystem; you must clearly understand the operational differences between design, detailing, and fabrication workflows.
Strategic Hunter Mindset: A proven track record of successfully entering new regional markets or launching net-new products, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build pipelines from scratch.
Core Competencies: Entrepreneurial drive to treat the territory like a private business, proactive problem-solving, and the technical savvy to translate localized industry needs into formal product business cases.
Bonus Points For:
Established professional connections or prior experience working alongside relevant Indian industry associations and consulting bodies.
An active, robust network of C-level and director-level contacts within the Indian MEP and construction contractor ecosystem.
