Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance application performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of application configuration and release management in packaged or SaaS environments.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services to extend application capabilities.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms and their use in customizing and extending packaged applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain high availability and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
