Payment Lifecycle Associate - Cash Asset Management

Unlock your potential and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment.As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I within Payments Operations, you will be well-versed with Banking Operations nuances, preferably have experience on Cash business, reconciliations, payments, expensing interest on Nostro Balances, investigations on root cause and promoters of the overdraft interest validation on adverse Nostro Balances, analysis on reducing interest costs on Nostro accounts.
Job responsibilities
- Supervise overall staff during shift operating window.
- Ensure that all work items are completed as per the agreed SLA. Strong control required to manage this critical process & ensuring apt accuracy while explaining adverse Nostro Balance.
- Monitor the adverse Interest Costs on Nostro balance exceptions and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner by collaborating with internal Line of Business and assigning costs appropriately to the right desk.
- Communicating with various Stakeholders within & outside Cash Asset Management. Addressing queries & escalation of Line of Businesses and other relevant desks.
- Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the process.
- Identify the training requirements of the team members.
- Track the changes to the procedures and ensure that the team is fully aware of the changes.
- Understand overall Nostro funding by coordinating with the business and treasury teams to arrive at the appropriate funding requirements of the Nostro Account.
- Perform reconciliation to identify the reason for the break and reach out to businesses to close the breaks.
- Support Global Treasury teams in the process of predicting and funding the Banks cash positions across ASIA, EMEA & WHEM entity accounts.
- Partner with Global Projects team to bring efficiency in the process & Cash Management systems.
- Strong written and oral comprehension of English language
- Working knowledge of Banking Operations
- Computer navigation skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- College degree and 6 OR more years of Banking Operation Experience
- Share-point handling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency in Intelligent Solutions – Alteryx/Tableau, etc.
- Knowledge of Nostro Funding Process /SWIFTs/Nostro Balances validation & Interest Expensing
