Job Title: Engineer / Junior Engineer – Plant & Machinery

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) / Civil Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 1 project experience in handling construction equipment / plant machinery

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise operation, maintenance, and deployment of construction equipment
• Ensure availability and optimal utilization of machinery such as cranes, launching equipment, batching plants, and other heavy equipment
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant and machinery
• Monitor equipment performance, productivity, and downtime
• Maintain records of equipment logs, maintenance schedules, and utilization reports
• Coordinate with site teams for timely mobilization and demobilization of equipment
• Ensure all machinery complies with safety standards, statutory requirements, and certifications
• Oversee fuel consumption, spare parts management, and cost control
• Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution at site
• Ensure proper handling and operation by trained and authorized personnel

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of construction equipment and machinery operations
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and heavy equipment functioning
• Basic understanding of safety and statutory compliance requirements
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills

Role Expectation:

• Responsible for efficient management and maintenance of plant & machinery
• Ensure minimum downtime, maximum utilization, and safe operations of all equipment
