Job Title: Private Bank, BM, AVP

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

This role is a Private Bank role for central Emerging Markets (EM) Business Management position based in Mumbai. Key responsibilities include supporting business governance, sales & performance management, strategic reporting and senior management forums. The role partners closely with EM COO, Business Management, Coverage, Strategy, and regional stakeholders to enable disciplined execution, transparency, and informed decision‑making.

Your key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate key governance meetings including monthly EM Business Development Meetings (BDM), Deep Dives etc. Includes agenda planning, material consolidation, presenter coordination, and action‑item tracking.
  • Support Key Client management by preparing and reporting on key client financials, engaging in pipeline management and tracking conversion status of key prospects. Acts as a focal point for any cascade or rollout of key client initiative.   
  • Work closely with EM COO, EM Business Managers, Coverage, Strategy, Product, Performance Management, and regional stakeholders across APAC, ME, and Latam regions.  Acting as a central coordination point ensuring alignment, consistency, and timely delivery of materials across regions and functions.
  • Support the delivery of EM COO priorities and strategic execution including small client reviews as well as regular updates to recurring senior forums and town halls.
  • Maintain and update regional capability decks to ensure consistent and up‑to‑date representation of PB EM capabilities.
  • Support annual planning exercise and any adhoc strategy and business management topics
  • Coordinate the rollout of key surveys including the annual NPS client survey which involves performance of name screening, end‑to‑end UAT testing, tracking, and stakeholder coordination across coverage and marketing team.

Your skills and experience

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
  • Relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, financial services business management / COO / strategy roles
  • Good Project Management and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with large amount of data paired with strong analytical skills; problem‑solving with attention‑to‑details 
  • Adaptability and ability to work in an unstructured environment with changing priorities
  • Experience supporting senior management forums and governance processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Structured reporting, and Dashboards. Good to have some exposure with automation/ improvements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
