Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products.

We are looking for a highly motivated Playwright Automation Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript, modern automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD integration, and an AI-first approach to test automation leveraging GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions that improve test coverage, accelerate delivery cycles, and enhance software quality across web applications.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Must have Playwright with Typescript skill, modern automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD integration
- an AI-first approach to test automation leveraging GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with API Testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Playwright for end-to-end testing automation.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex testing issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
