Java Tech lead

Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Tech Lead with strong experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, drive technical solutions, ensure coding best practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java‑based applications.
• Architect and implement Microservices using Spring Boot and cloud-native principles.
• Develop robust and secure REST APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to the development team.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile development activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (8 or above) .
• Expertise in Spring Boot , Spring MVC , Spring Cloud , and Microservices patterns.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and integration patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
