"Job Description: Sr. Test Automation Engineer – Mobile BankingLocation: India (Global Delivery Center)Industry: Banking / Digital TransformationExperience: 5–7 Years Role ObjectiveAs a Sr. Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust, scalable automation framework for a next-generation mobile banking application. You will focus on accelerating the release cycle by automating complex customer journeys across Android and iOS platforms. Your role is critical in shifting from manual verification to a high-velocity, Automation-First delivery model, ensuring the bank's digital services are resilient and bug-free. Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Mobile Automation• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS using Robot Framework and Playwright.• Implement cross-platform automation strategies to validate mobile banking features such as fund transfers, bill payments, and biometric security.• Integrate automation suites with Mobile Device Farms (e.g., BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, or Kobiton) to ensure device-agnostic application stability.2. API & Integration Automation• Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs and middleware services to ensure seamless communication between the mobile front-end and Core Banking back-end.• Utilize Playwright for web-view and API-level testing, ensuring end-to-end data integrity across the banking ecosystem.3. Execution & Value Generation• Manage the execution of automated regression suites within the CI/CD pipeline.• Analyze automation results, provide detailed execution reports, and identify trends to reduce ""False Positives"" and maintenance overhead.• Transform automation data into actionable insights for the CXO and SteerCo teams to demonstrate the ROI and value-add of the automation initiative.4. Framework Governance• Maintain and enhance a modular, keyword-driven, or data-driven framework using Robot Framework.• Leverage SelenJob role
