Payments & Wire Exchange Subject Matter Expert (SME) – AutomationWe are seeking a Payments & Wire Exchange SME with strong automation testing and process validation skills to support enterprise payment platforms. The role focuses on wire transfers, FX payments, STP processing, compliance validation, and automation-driven quality assurance across domestic and international payment systems.The ideal candidate will bridge business domain expertise with technical automation capabilities, ensuring scalable, accurate, and compliant payment operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPayments & Wire Exchange DomainAct as Subject Matter Expert for:Domestic & international wire transfersFX payments and currency conversionsSWIFT (MT/MX), SEPA, ACH, as applicable)Payment lifecycle: initiation, validation, routing, settlement, and reconciliationValidate STP (Straight Through Processing) rules and exception handling.Ensure compliance with:AML, sanctions (OFAC), KYCPayment regulations and bank-specific controlsSupport requirement validation, business rule clarification, and defect triage.Automation & Quality EngineeringDesign and implement automation frameworks for payment and FX workflows.Automate validation for:Message formats (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022)FX rate application & tolerance checksCut-off times, holiday calendars, and settlement logicCollaborate with QA and Dev teams on:Regression automation suitesAPI-level testing and validationData-driven and rule-based automationReduce manual testing and false failures using intelligent automation strategies.Stakeholder & Delivery SupportWork closely with:Product OwnersBusiness AnalystsDevelopersCompliance and Operations teamsReview and contribute to:User storiesAcceptance criteriaTest strategy and Definition of Done (DoD)Support UAT and production issue analysis as a domain expert.
