Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Structure Senior Team Member is pivotal in executing and coordinating the fabrication and erection of various types of steel structures, ensuring all activities are completed within the set timelines while adhering to quality, safety, and industrial benchmarks. This role involves developing detailed project execution plans, managing schedules, and ensuring the accuracy of fabrication and erection processes. The Senior Team Member supports the Construction Structure Lead by overseeing day-to-day activities, coordinating with various teams, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain project momentum and compliance with design specifications. Through effective collaboration and oversight, this position drives the successful completion of structural projects and ensures a seamless transition to subsequent phases of construction.
Construction Structure Senior Team Member-PETCHEM
Site Operations & Oversight:
Achieve effective site operations by coordinating daily activities related to the fabrication and erection of steel structures.
Ensure timely completion of all fabrication and erection tasks by monitoring progress and resolving any on-site issues promptly.
Oversee the safe execution of all structural tasks by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Achieve project milestones by developing and managing detailed project execution plans and schedules.
Ensure timely completion of all fabrication and erection activities by addressing delays promptly and implementing corrective actions.
Coordinate with the planning and projects teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources such as cranes, hydras, and manpower.
Technical Design Review:
Ensure technical accuracy by reviewing and implementing detailed fabrication and erection drawings.
Support the design team in finalizing and reviewing structural drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure that structural designs are accurately translated into fabrication and erection activities.
Compliance, Quality & Safety Management:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes by overseeing all welding procedures and material specifications.
Maintain high-quality workmanship by supervising the fabrication and erection processes to meet project specifications and quality benchmarks.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations by conducting risk assessments, job safety analyses, and ensuring top priority for HSE requirements.
Budget & Cost Control:
Optimize project costs by maintaining a detailed Management Information System (MIS) for reporting and tracking expenditures.
Support budget management by coordinating with the lead to manage and control costs related to fabrication and erection activities.
Assist in vendor negotiations and contract management to align with project budgets and financial controls.
Risk & Change Management:
Mitigate project risks by identifying potential issues in fabrication and erection processes and implementing preventive measures.
Adapt to changes in project scope or design by adjusting plans and schedules as directed by the Construction Structure Lead.
Monitor and address any changes in project requirements promptly to avoid delays and ensure project success.
Team Management:
Enhance team performance by guiding and mentoring team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Foster a collaborative working environment by encouraging open communication and teamwork to achieve project goals.
Support team development by providing regular feedback and conducting training sessions as needed.
Commissioning, Handover & Post-construction Support:
Ensure successful commissioning of fabricated and erected structures by overseeing pre-commissioning activities and verifying compliance with design specifications.
Facilitate smooth handover to the Operations & Maintenance team by preparing documentation and providing necessary post-construction support.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience (Range of years):
Minimum 7-12 years in the Fabrication Sector.
Hands-on experience with oil & gas projects of similar scale.
Knowledge of Welding Codes & Procedures for Fabrication.
Experience in Structural Fabrication and Erection.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and negotiate with large-scale, high-value vendors.
Proficient in computer usage, including MS Office and PowerPoint.
