Job Purpose: The Shift Engineer - C&I monitors C&I operations, manages maintenance, responds to emergencies, ensures safety, collaborates with stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement to optimize C&I system performance and reliability.
Monitor C&I Operations:
- Oversee C&I systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot issues and maintain system availability for production support.
Manage Maintenance:
- Develop and execute maintenance plans for C&I equipment. Conduct inspections, repairs, and calibrations to minimize downtime.
Respond to Emergencies:
- Quickly address C&I system breakdowns to reduce production disruptions. Coordinate with teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Work with internal teams and external partners to integrate C&I systems smoothly and address challenges.
Drive Continuous Improvement:
- Enhance C&I system performance and efficiency. Implement new technologies and best practices for process optimization.
Team Development:
- Foster a safe, collaborative work environment and mentor team members for growth.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is essential. Additional certifications in automation, control systems, or PLC programming would be beneficial. Strong academic foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering principles is crucial.
Work Experience (Range of years):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in C&I operations and maintenance within an industrial setting. Proven track record in troubleshooting C&I equipment, ensuring system reliability, and adhering to safety standards. Demonstrated ability to work in a shift environment and handle emergencies effectively.
