Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The Construction Structure Team Member is responsible for executing the fabrication and erection of various types of structures, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role involves coordinating on-site activities, studying engineering drawings, managing materials and resources, and ensuring that all fabrication and erection processes meet the required specifications. By effectively supporting the fabrication and erection teams and maintaining detailed reporting, the Construction Structure Team Member contributes to the successful completion of construction projects within the defined scope and schedule.

Construction Structure Team Member-PETCHEM

Site Operations & Oversight:

Achieve timely erection of steel structures by coordinating on-site activities according to provided drawings and arranging the sequence of erection.

Ensure smooth coordination with the Fabrication team to verify the readiness of fabricated structures.

Prepare daily fit-up reports to document progress and start fabrication effectively.

Timely arrange all tools, tackles, and equipment necessary for the erection of structures.

Project Planning & Coordination:

Study engineering drawings thoroughly before executing jobs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Prepare a comprehensive list of materials, resources, tools, and tackles required for the job.

Ensure material availability for pre-fabrication activities and finalize the scope of fabrication work.

Maintain Management Information System (MIS) for accurate reporting and tracking of job progress.

Technical Design Review:

Check spools as per drawings and release them for welding, ensuring all components are aligned with technical specifications.

Punch line numbers, joint numbers, and spool numbers for efficient future access and reference during fabrication.

Compliance, Quality & Safety Management:

Ensure pre-fabrication and fabrication activities adhere to set quality and safety standards.

Release welded components for inspection prior to erection to maintain compliance with quality requirements.

Risk & Change Management:

Address any issues or changes in the scope of work promptly to mitigate risks and ensure project timelines are met.

Commissioning, Handover & Post-construction Support:

Coordinate and arrange all necessary resources and equipment for the successful completion and handover of erection jobs.

Educational Qualification:

Essential: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience (Range of years):

Minimum 3-7 years in the execution of various fabrication projects.

Experience handling similar projects of the same kind.

Knowledge of Welding Codes & Procedures for Fabrication.

Experience in Structural Fabrication and Erection.

Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and negotiating with large-scale, high-value vendors.
