Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Fab shop/ Precasting/ Batching Plant Team Member supports fabrication and erection tasks by supervising daily operations, inspecting raw materials, and ensuring quality standards are met. They facilitate procurement by creating and managing PRs in SAP, resolve operational issues, and maintain safety compliance. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling daily activities, updating project databases, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring accurate material and spool deliveries. The Team Member also enforces safety protocols, monitors quality control measures, and assists in budget management through certification and billing processes to maintain financial accuracy.
Construction Fab shop& Precasting& Batching Plant Team Member-PETCHEM
Site Operations & Oversight:
Support daily operations of structural and piping fabrication by assisting with CNC machining, blasting, and painting processes. Execute routine tasks with standard tools and equipment, ensuring adherence to established fabrication processes.
Inspect raw materials to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements during fabrication processes. Perform initial inspections and verify that outputs meet basic quality requirements.
Facilitate timely procurement by creating and managing Service PR and Material PR in SAP, ensuring the availability of necessary materials and services.
Resolve operational issues promptly by managing equipment availability, material handling, and quality control, adhering to safety standards. Operate standard fabrication equipment, performing basic maintenance tasks and reporting issues.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Plan and schedule daily activities for piping projects, coordinating with internal teams to align fabrication efforts with project timelines. Assist in the early stages of project planning by gathering data and supporting the creation of initial schedules and budgets.
Maintain and update the piping and structure database to support effective project management and tracking. Assist in documenting project requirements and constraints.
Ensure accurate material and Structural assembly /spool deliveries from stores.
Improvement of Production Efficiency:
Implement advanced fabrication techniques to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance, Quality & Safety Management:
Enforce safety and quality standards by following established safety protocols, participating in safety audits, and addressing quality issues in compliance with HSE standards. Follow safety protocols, utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), and monitor compliance with safety regulations.
Budget & Cost Control:
Assist in budget management by preparing and verifying measuring certifications, bills, and consumption reports for piping, structure, and equipment jobs.
Risk & Change Management:
Identify and report risks related to equipment, materials, and design changes. Assist in documenting these risks and supporting risk mitigation efforts.
Post-construction Support:
Address any post-construction issues promptly.

Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience (Range of years):
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Chemical sector.
Hands-on experience in handling at least two oil & gas projects as a Fabrication Engineer.
Experience in handling piping spools and pipe fabrication including Structural fabrication
