Terminal Incharge - Associate Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day terminal operations including passenger processing, facilities, and services.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and security procedures.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agencies, security agencies, customs, immigration, and concessionaires.
• Monitor terminal performance, passenger flow, and crowd management during peak and irregular operations.
• Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and infrastructure readiness of terminal buildings.
• Implement emergency response plans and manage incidents, disruptions, and crisis situations.
• Manage terminal budgets, operating costs, and resource allocation.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle passenger complaints and feedback.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate terminal operations staff and contractors.
• Support implementation of new technologies, systems, and process improvements.

Safety and Security Responsibilities

• Enforce safety management systems (SMS) and occupational health & safety standards.
• Coordinate terminal security operations and audits.
• Ensure preparedness for emergencies including fire, medical, security, and evacuation scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Aviation, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in airport operations or terminal management.
• Strong knowledge of airport regulatory requirements (DGCA / ICAO / IATA standards preferred).
• Experience managing large teams and multiple stakeholders.
