Factory Manager

A Bricks Factory Manager oversees all production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in brick manufacturing. Core Responsibilities

• Production Management: Plan, schedule, and execute daily/monthly production targets to meet customer demand and optimize equipment utilization.
• Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards regarding raw materials, mixing, pressing, and firing (kiln performance) to reduce rejections.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and ISO standards.
• Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate production operators and supervisors, addressing skill gaps.
• Maintenance & Efficiency: Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventative maintenance and implement process improvements (CI) to increase efficiency.
• Inventory & Reporting: Manage inventory levels of raw materials (clay, shale, etc.) and finished goods, while preparing daily/weekly production reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience (5-10 years) in manufacturing, specifically in brick production or refractory operations.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of kiln operations, clay processing, and automated brick-making equipment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and Microsoft Office/ERP system skills.
