Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator with hand wood carving expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC wood carving machines, performing manual finishing, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship for custom wood products.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CNC wood carving machines for precise cutting, engraving, and shaping.
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
  • Perform hand carving, sanding, and finishing to enhance artistic details.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for precision.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, defects, and quality control.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace while handling tools and materials properly.
  • Collaborate with designers and production staff to develop new wood designs.
  • Requirements:
  • Knowledge of CNC software ( ArtCAM) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of wood types, grain structure, and carving techniques.
  • Attention to detail and precision in manual woodworking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machines and ensure high-quality production.
  • Certification in woodworking or CNC machining is a plus.
  • Experience with staining, polishing, and wood finishing techniques.
